Our Garmin Alpha 100 Handheld Screen Replacement is a service we offer to help extend the life of the unit. The Garmin Alpha 100 screens sometimes go bad. The most common problem is a spot on the screen that minimizes the view of the screen. This process also can fix other screen issues. Screen lines, screen cracks, non-functioning screens, etc can often be repaired as well. We will evaluate your unit and determine if replacement fixes your issue.

First, send us an email through our the Contact section at the bottom of this page. In the "Comment" area of the form, state your intent to have an Alpha 100 screen replaced. Give us as much detail as you can on exactly what problem you are seeing with your unit. Provide us with your email and phone number in this correspondence. We will then answer back with the OK to send the unit and the full instructions on how to get it to us.
Package the unit securely (good padding in a small box) and send it to the address provided using either USPS or UPS. (ship with tracking) We recommend either UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. These are the best affordable options and they move a bit more efficiently than the cheapest options. You are responsible for the cost of that shipping. Provide us the tracking number by email response. We are not responsible for any issues with shipping. When shipping, we don’t need a battery, map card, or even the antenna.
When we receive it, we will evaluate it for screen replacement. If replacement won’t fix it, you will only owe the shipping back to you, which will run $10 to $15 depending on your location. If replacement fixes your unit, we will replace the screen and let you know it is fixed. After we inform you that it is repaired, we will figure the shipping back and you will owe $115 (which includes screen protector installed) plus the shipping cost to send the unit back to you. You would then pay us the full amount (repair plus return shipping) and the unit will be sent back to you in the most appropriate shipping method. We accept all major credit cards, Shop Pay, and PayPal. No payment, other than your shipping cost to get it here is needed until we get the unit and perform the repairs. The $115 repair cost is fixed, the shipping is the only variable. Shipping normally runs $10 to $15 depending on your location and your choice of shippers. We are not responsible for variations in shipping cost or excess shipping charges.
We will also update your software if you desire, clean your unit, and inspect it for any issues that might be present.
If the unit has other problems found during inspection, we will share those issues before any repairs are performed.
Shipping may be less or more than what I predict but it will be close. We are not responsible for loss, damage, or other issues with shipping.
